Whoop $199 to $359 per year. Strava, $11.99 per month or $80 per year. Fitbit or Google, $500 to $4,500 in compliance fees. Aura $5.99 per month or $69.99 cents per year. Withings, open and free. Garmin license fee.
Seems the only easy API integration is withings, which in my eyes is the least sexy of the data providers. But I know they still have millions of users, so I will continue exploring it further and will almost certainly bring them in. It’s a shame all of these providers are so difficult to work with. It definitely pushes indie devs away and seems to rule our business deals with larger players. But I’ll keep tinkering and see what’s possible.
